He has served as Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) and the Arab Esports Federation; positions he has held since their founding in 2017. He has also been Vice President of the Global Esports Federation since December 2021 and is a board member of NEOM.

His Excellency is non-executive board member of Savvy Games Group, and he was appointed as Minister of Communications and Information Technology in April 2017. Prior to this, he was the Chief Digital Officer of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has served in the private sector as the CEO of Cisco Saudi Arabia. His Excellency serves as an advisor at the Royal Court overseeing the implementation of various initiatives and programs that are part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. In addition, he is the Secretary-General of the Strategic Management Office of Vision 2030.

Mr. Al-Humeid concurrently serves as the Chairman of the National Security Services Company, Vice Chairman of the Saudi National Bank, the Saudi Tadawul Holding Group, Saudi Telecom Company (STC), and Saudi Egyptian Investment Company and holds memberships of the boards of several companies such as Saudi Arabian Airlines, Civil Aviation Holding, Richard Attias & Associates, and Flyadeal.

Since joining PIF in 2016, he has led the Fund’s international investment strategy across public and private markets, real estate and infrastructure. He serves on several PIF committees and represents PIF on a number of company boards, including Lucid Motors, Uber, SITE, Sanabil Investments and HUMAIN.

Advisor to the Saudi Royal Court. A former member of Savvy’s Founding Board, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Events Investment Fund and the World Cup 2034 Hosting Higher Authority, and holds board roles across multiple PIF-affiliated entities.

Travis Kalanick is an American-Saudi entrepreneur, co-founder of Uber and CEO of ATOMS, a portfolio of companies focused on infrastructure and automation. Prior to ATOMS, he co-founded Uber and served as CEO from 2010 to June 2017, leading the company from its early stages to operations in more than 70 countries and over 5 billion completed trips. He also founded Red Swoosh, acquired by Akamai Technologies in 2007, and co-founded Scour while studying engineering at UCLA.
